Founded in 2010 by Paddy Cosgrave, David Kelly and Daire Hickey in Dublin, Irland, this conference started has a connector between the technology community with all industries- old and new. Now, Web Summit is considered has the largest technology conference in the world.

Web Summit joins technology with Startups, Robotic, Marketing, Sport, Health, and others. Also in this conference is possible to saw presentations made by influent people in them areas, have business reunions, workshops and inspire talks. The main objective is to do business, learn and have inspire talks with inspire people.

Since 2016, this conference is organized in Lisbon, Portugal. This year, this conference will be on 6th to 11th November, in FIL and Altice Arena.
